Sunflower Lanyard Scheme

The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a simple tool for you to voluntarily share that you have a disability or condition that may not be immediately apparent – and that you may need a helping hand, understanding, or more time in shops, at work, on transport, or in public spaces.
The lanyard can help you move through airports quicker, reduce the time waiting in lines, allow you a place to sit down, for example.
The lanyard is recognised around the world. Scroll down to find your country’s page here: Your Local Sunflower
The Hidden Disabilities website has detailed information on the scheme, and how it works.
There is no need to disclose to anyone why you are wearing the lanyard. It may be for a hidden condition such as autism, anxiety or Crohn’s. However, it may also be for a temporary condition such as a broken ankle.
